Almost none of them even knew what a Leslie was. Older couples that bought those home organs typically NEVER had one before and really didn't know the difference. A lot of people just didn't have the room in their house for an organ AND a Leslie. You'll find new or used products in Wurlitzer Organs on eBay. Houses were so much smaller in that time period than some of the monster homes you see today, especially in the eastern US. One thing you got to keep in mind, that couples that were in retirement during that time period probably had a house that was built in the first part of the 20th century.
